Seethe, Soak, Steam, Stew, Steep, Brew, Boil, Distill, Ferment, Mull or maybe just plain old Concoct. Who really knows. Katherine's stuffed this contraption full of cherries, plumbs, grapes. Some of the juice can be a little sour but it's all good. Well, and good luck in that we haven't crack a cold jar poring in the hot liquid. Yet. A nice treat in the middle of winter.
