These are Bettie's blueberries. Beautiful tall bushes that you hardly have to bend over to pick. We each filled an ice cream pale in an hour. She'd said the fruit is really setting heavy this year so maybe a long winter ahead. With berries like this we're not worried. Every year Sylvia and Dave invite friends over to pick cherries before opening it up to the harvest share crew. Katherine had me out of the sack at 6 this morning to get at it. We shop local as much as possible but sometimes you just have to get out of town. Common Knowledge Bookstore and Tea house in Sandpiont Idaho. This is one of our favorite little mini holidays. They serve up a lovely breakfast or lunch. Great coffee and a really healthy juice bar.
