There are some really good reads here. Only  4.50 each or 4 for $ 15. Not a bad deal. You probably reconize a lot of the titles. Some best sellers that we just have to many of. The Pilots Wife, Eat, Pray, Love. Stones into Schools, The Memory Keepers Daughter. White Tiger, Family Matters, Game of Thrones. Some old classics as well. Accidental Tourist, Peoples Guide to Mexico, Stone Diaries. Good reads for the beach at a fair price. That's us.

That's why Katherine is smiling. We're back up in the hills picking huckleberries. The day before hot and dry and today she had us picking in a thunder storm. Didn't last to long and it cooled us off so I'd best not complain. Oh, and a solid three weeks earlier than last year. Good little patch too. As always a fun way to spend an hour or two.

Our costumers have been good enough to take the time to fill in these little cards telling you why they enjoyed a particular book. You'll find them throughout the shop. They give you a fun little recommendation and maybe a little insight into our cliental. Thanks to Henth for sharing these lovely thoughts on a great writer. " I like these books because they give me memories. Also I love them very much. "

This is what happens to you after living in Creston for to long. You get spoilt and fussy. The Bings and the Stella's aren't good enough. I've got to have the Rainier's. Oh my but they are a nice cherry. I mean it, they're a treat. Well, and it's a treat to go pick them. You go first thing in the morning, the roosters are crowing back and forth. You can hear the morning doves. Nice and cool. You can pick a third of a tote in no time. All from Martha Flamenco on the Erickson back road at 2642 Erickson. Or call ahead at 428-9511. Just about the nicest way imaginable to start your day. Tell her Joe sent you.
