What a way to start the new month. Katherine takes me out to her secret place were the Slipper Lilies bloom. In bloom they are. Wow. There are even a handful of new plants in the vicinity of the original. What is most interesting is that this is in a forest that's been selectively logged. You will never find this diversity in a clear cut that's been replanted into these monocultures they claim to be sustainable. Enough. We're just happy to see these beauties.
